Worst. Article. Ever. By Jason 14 February 2007 at 5:54 pm 50 views

I give to you what I believe may be the worst news article ever written. It’s quite long, but trust me, it’s worth it. This article makes me wonder not only what type of person wrote it, but what type of editor decided it was good enough to go out.

Here are some snippets… click the link below to go to the site itself.

Computer spammers are the elusive people so many love to hate.

They’re also hard to find but sometimes they do get caught.

And so the article begins… it was written just like this. Amazing.

A heartland man pleaded guilty to the crime at a time when spam e-mailing is on the rise again.

If you have an email account, it has probably happened to you.

It happened to UNO student Desi Holman.

Not Desi! :o Oh noes!

Then there are safety concerns. Some spam wants our money.

Others try to deliver a computer virus.

It’s the reason UNO has cyber security director Bret Blackman.

I think UNO should send this writer a tutor.

Worldwide, 90 percent of all email is spam.

The volume has doubled in a year’s time.

Spam filters can’t keep up.

“The volume of spam in the last year has increased so much that it is estimated that 90% of e-mail (worldwide) is now spam; this is twice as much as it was last year. The problem is so severe that many Spam filters can’t keep up and companies are seeking other solutions.” There… I think that’s what he meant to say.

Channel 6 contacted Josh Eveloff at his business, but he did not return my calls.

If you talk half as bad as you write, I can understand why. Click below to to go the original article… prepare to wince:
