There’s no “fun” in a funeral By Jason 25 February 2006 at 9:34 am 203 views

Well, Jess and I went to the funeral yesterday. It was filled with so many people that it got to the point where it was standing room only. Ex-employees, current employees, friends, family, and other businessmen (including those who are technically our competitors) all showed up. It was a very large church, and it barely fit everyone inside.
We had never been to a Catholic funeral before, so it was interesting to see. It’s pretty much a funeral combined with a short mass. All in all, it was quite sad… there was a lot of crying and the funeral procession was the longest I’ve ever seen (I did feel kinda bad for the people made to wait for us… they were probably on their lunch break and probably had to wait 15+ min for all the cars to get by).

It’s still hard to believe what happened, happened (if you don’t know… click here). It doesn’t seem real. Hopefully Monday morning gives us better news and more hope to the future.
