What a busy weekend! I spent most of Saturday at the office trying to finish up everything before I leave (by the way, do you live in the Panama City area and want a job? Click this link then to see if you can fill it: Get My Job!). So imagine my surprise when I checked the donations and found out we have hit (and surpassed) our 100th!! So it looks like a winner has been named and we will have all the prizes given out soon! Also, all the other donators should be expecting their e-mails within the week!
So, thanks once again for all donations, it has really helped get everything up and running all around. And for those wondering, yes, we’ll have a new contest coming up as we get closer to out 250th donation, so anyone wishing they were the winner will have another chance in the coming months!
Also, on a sadder note, as much of you know, Ronald Reagan passed away yesterday. He was America’s oldest living ex-President, staying with us to the ripe old age of 93. Rest in peace, Gipper… rest in peace. Also today marks the anniversary of D-Day, 60 years ago today.

Okay boys and girls, it looks like the site is back up. Seems we were down for about 24 hours but we just kicked back on. So what happened? Well, this is the report I got:
“The network card was removed from the configuration of the server by a disgruntled employee and we are now in process of fixing the problem. The server should be up within 24 hours.”
So, it seems everything is back to normal… for now at least. Just incase, we’re getting a backup server installed at a different site that will be turned on if something like this happens again (which they assure us, will not).
Now, for some great news… we currently have AutoPatcher 4.6 being worked on! It’s going to have some more fixes and features, and a slightly new look (should bring the program together a bit more). It’s still got a ways to go, but as it gets closer expect some screenshots!

Well, I turned the big “23″ today! That’s about all the news for you I have! If you want to send me a “Birthday Donation”, click the link below, it will show up differently than a “AutoPatcher Donation”. And for those who sent me e-mails, thanks for your kind words!!
One quick update… I fixed the problem caused by the new site index page being named different than the old site’s page. Now anyone going to http://www.autopatcher.com/Index.htm will be redirected to the front page, rather than the 404 page.

Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend (those that had one). I just noticed that we once again broke our records for people visiting the site! We had 63,110 Unique Visitors, this month… very awesome! I posted a picture that shows all the months compared to each other. Check it out:
On a side note, tomorrow is my birthday! Anyone getting me anything? haha
And finally, I noticed someone tried to “cheat” the giveaway by donating $0.04… knowing PayPal would take the entire thing and give us nothing. So, since it wasn’t said before, I’ll say it now… no donations under $1.00 will be allowed for consideration for the 100th Donation Giveaway. Since I didn’t say it before, the person who did that will have his name entered as a donator, but all others after him will not.

Well, a quick break in my day, all my relatives are out for the moment so it gives me a second to update the site. It’s the first time in a good 10 years we’ve all been together, so they’re taking every opportunity to go do things together that they can.I made a few changes to the site to make it even more compatible in Mozilla FireFox. I also fixed some more minor flaws that were found in the code (sharp eyes for those that alerted me!). So, once again I hope this fixes all the problems people had on the site.
So, it appears we’re down to the final 18 donators… that’s all that’s left! And to those that wondered, the 100th person will be contacted via e-mail from Fatpipe Webhosting to discuss the free site/space. So don’t worry about that (someone asked how it would work). We’ll contact you based on your e-mail address listed in paypal.
Well, it’s time to go get ready for everyone to come back… as you can tell from the nice pic below, we have quite a few people here (there’s plenty more that you can’t see).
Have a happy Memorial Day, Everyone!!
