Well, I’m sure most of you out there in TV Land are wondering where your AutoPatcher release is. Well let me be the first to tell you, it’s completed, and being uploaded. BUT, and this is a big but, it will be another day or so until it’s out. Why? Well, first off, the cable went out for most of the day here, which stopped my uploading. But the main reason, is me being sick. If you look below you see a few days back I was complaining about a cold. Well, it turns out after goin’ to the doctor, it wasn’t a cold. It was Bronchitis. Lovely. So I’m on tons of meds, and have been semi-quarantined (fun for all), so you’ll just have to bear with me a bit. It sucks for both of us, I know. Anywho, feel free to send me a get-well soon message to my e-mail, or of course, the often forgotten, Get Well Soon Donation… I mean, who doesn’t perk right up from one of those?So, back to resting for me whilst these files upload… I bet you’re as anxious as I am about this next release… it’s a doozy!

Well, first, let me apologize for the delay on the newest AutoPatcher Release. Besides me coming down with a horrible cold, some other issues caused me to not be able to work on it over the weekend. On the bright side, I believe I have with me what will be the Gold release. It’s been tested and retested, and it looks like we may have a winner. Another good thing, because of the delay we were finally able to add in some of the new security features we’ve been wanting to. Now if the download is corrupt, or if someone tampers with the files, it will not allow the AutoPatcher to be run. It will now generate a warning message explaining what has happened. This should really help out a lot of you, and cut down on the worries that someone would infect the patcher with a virus. This will now prevent that!Well then, I’d best get back to work, we want this out soon, don’t we? One last quick note! We finished out last month with an amazing 62,285 unique visitors. Now, it’s not groundbreaking, by far. But it’s still amazing for me! Now let’s see if we can hit 100,000!!

Another minor update. The March Release is almost ready to go. Beta 1 passed pretty well. Found some little bugs so they’ve been fixed. Beta 2 should be out shortly for all my testers. So get ready folks, the New Improved March Release will be here soon!!
In other news, we’ve almost hit 60,000 unique visitors this month!! That’s just insane!! Currently we’re at 59,304 unique, with 6,210,483 hits! Wow… that’s crazy!!
One more thing! For you guys in the UK, check out this month’s edition of .Net Magazine. We got ourselves a little shout out in there, though the pic they showed of the AutoPatcher is from a previous release.
