The Wordpress 2.5 release may have been delayed a week, but you can still go play with it! Check out the latest version here:
While the outside looks about the same, the admin pages have gotten a huge upgrade. For those wanting to be the first one running it out of the gate, be sure and check out the WordPress Upgrade Preparation Checklist… it has great advice and links to some great tools (such as the Wordpress Upgrade Preflight Check Plugin), I think it should help those who don’t like upgrading things.
I’m looking forward to the new release… hell, it’d be real nice if I could complete the redesign and do both at once! I guess if I were to do that I’d have to really pick up the pace, but if anyone can do it, I can!
