Another update, with Neowin v.4 approaching, I decided to focus more on the new graphics for that, rather than my new blog. Don’t worry, don’t worry… it’ll get done when it gets done. Now then, who wants some juicy Neowin tidbits? Okay, here’s some info for you:
First of all, Neowin v. 4 will have ▓▓▓ of ▓▓▓ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓ and a few ▓▓▓ ▓▓▓▓▓. Of course, you must be thinking, “▓▓▓▓▓▓?”, and I will have to answer “Definately ▓▓▓!”
Next, about Neowin v4’s graphics, what will it look like? Well if you just go here, you can see a sneak peak:

Not bad, huh? I’m sure you wonder what the ░░░░ on the ░░░░░ ░░░░ is. Well, let me be the first to tell you it’s ░░░ ░░░░░ ░░░░░░░!!! I bet you’ll all ░░ ░░░░░ when you ░░░ ░░ ░░░!!!
And last, but not least, the ▓▓▓▓▓▓! I’m sure you want to know what things we’ll be doing there as well! Okay, here it goes, we’re ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒▒, including ▒▒▒ ▒▒▒▒▒▒ and the ▒▒▒▒▒!! We’ll also be ░░░░░░ a few ░░░ ░░░ ░░░░░░ for you to ░░░░░ ░░░.

Well, the new Neowin layout is coming along nicely! If all goes well, we’ll have it up and running in October!

Well, I needs to get back to work… this mockup won’t create itself. 
Today is our kitten Mishka’s birthday! Today she turns one year old (which is 24 in human years… oddly enough that’s how old I am!) and Jess plans on giving her tuna and sweet stuff for her present. The cat loves sweet things, melon, strawberries, non-dairy frosting, etc… you have it, she wants it. You can tell me a hundred times that cats don’t taste sweet, but she lives with me, and she will always prove you wrong. Here’s an older picture of her… will update with a new one later:
Besides that, nothing too new. Jess quit her job and has a bunch of interviews, so I wish her well. Also, the fish tank had an issue and I spent part of saturday fighting with a lobster and digging through gravel to fix it. Ugh. Also, I gave myself a nasty little burn when accidentally touching the aquarium heater. Grrr.Also in the last week I finally fixed my computer! It seems that the rear 120mm case fan was causing all my issues. Every BSOD, all the heat issues, etc. The fan would spin, quite fast, but it seems it was actually generating heat, instead of removing it. When I touched it, it actually burnt my finger! Very odd. Well, $10.00 later I have a new fan, and a nice cool running system (it runs about 43 degrees now, instead of the 60+ it was running before). While we’re on the “PC talk”, I got Vista installed and running on my system. While I get plenty of BSODs and the like, it’s not a bad OS, and I really like when Microsoft is going with it!
Let’s see, what else? I’ve been working on a lot of new things for Neowin on my spare time, although no one will see it for awhile. What is it? Not tellin’! Shhhh! It’s a secret! All I can say is, you’ll be happy when you see it.

Well, it seems I lost track of time for the past month. I’ve been kept quite busy so I forgot to update the site. I’m sure you all forgive me.

Now, on to AutoPatcher 2000 news. RC2 is being released to testers today so expect a release this month.
Well, what about AutoPatcher XP? Don’t fret, I’ll have an AutoPatcher XP release this month as well (it will be for SP2 systems, I’m still debating whether to keep going with the SP1 releases).
And for a little bit of personal news, I was promoted to the “Grafix” team on Neowin, and helped to get all the images ready for the IPB 2.0 rollout. Also, I got myself a kitten! She’s all white, just barely 3 months old, and loves being next to the computer! Everyone say hello to Mishka (my girlfriend picked out her name):

Well, on a brighter note… AutoPatcher 2000 and AutoPatcher 2003 have been given a shot in the arm thanks to some people who currently have more spare time than me (wait till I move… then the time will flow in!!). I’m helping them both transform it into an official release, so give me a couple weeks and I may have something new for you all to play with!
Also, we now have an official AutoPatcher server being run and hosted by some members at Neowin. We hope that as time goes on we will always have at least 1 server running and that will be it.
Other than that, no real news today… my great-grandparents are in town today for my brother’s graduation party that’s on Friday. So there may not be any real updates for the rest of the week, but I’ll try to keep you all posted when I find time at work to do so!
I also took a little time today to fix some of the errors on the site, I believe I fixed them all… or at least , 95% of them. Hope this helps your viewing pleasure some!!
Oh, one last thing, we’re getting really close to the 100th donator/donation… at the rate we’re going, I expect it in the next two weeks!! I wonder who the lucky person will be?
