The death toll, along with the water in what’s left of New Orleans, is rising fast in the wake of Katrina, and I’d like to ask any of those reading to donate to the cleanup and relief if you have some extra cash. Here are two links you can use:

If you choose the Red Cross, make sure to choose “Hurricane Relief” to direct your funds there, and also note they require a minimum donation of $5 USD. Just remember that as you sit here and read this, hundreds are trapped on roofs and in attics, and $5 might just help save a few of them. My thoughts and wishes go out to all the victims, survivors, and families.
