SpaceX, the private company established by PayPal’s founder Elon Musk, has made history by successfully launching their Falcon 1 rocket and achieving orbit. Falcon 1 has made history as the first privately developed liquid fueled launch vehicle to achieve earth orbit! The amazing thing about this is that it was only their fourth try. While many people see that as failure, most countries take many tries to get it right.
This launch comes after the failure of the Falcon 1 (Flight 3). During Flight 3, a problem occurred just after the first separation which prevented the second stage from occurring and from reaching orbit. According to their press release, “SpaceX was aware of and had allowed for a thrust transient, but did not expect it to last that long. As it turned out, a very small increase in the time between commanding main engine shutdown and stage separation would have been enough to save the mission. The fix was also very simple, requiring one line of code to be changed.”
Well, I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend (those that had one). I just noticed that we once again broke our records for people visiting the site! We had 63,110 Unique Visitors, this month… very awesome! I posted a picture that shows all the months compared to each other. Check it out:
On a side note, tomorrow is my birthday! Anyone getting me anything? haha
And finally, I noticed someone tried to “cheat” the giveaway by donating $0.04… knowing PayPal would take the entire thing and give us nothing. So, since it wasn’t said before, I’ll say it now… no donations under $1.00 will be allowed for consideration for the 100th Donation Giveaway. Since I didn’t say it before, the person who did that will have his name entered as a donator, but all others after him will not.

Well, a quick break in my day, all my relatives are out for the moment so it gives me a second to update the site. It’s the first time in a good 10 years we’ve all been together, so they’re taking every opportunity to go do things together that they can.I made a few changes to the site to make it even more compatible in Mozilla FireFox. I also fixed some more minor flaws that were found in the code (sharp eyes for those that alerted me!). So, once again I hope this fixes all the problems people had on the site.
So, it appears we’re down to the final 18 donators… that’s all that’s left! And to those that wondered, the 100th person will be contacted via e-mail from Fatpipe Webhosting to discuss the free site/space. So don’t worry about that (someone asked how it would work). We’ll contact you based on your e-mail address listed in paypal.
Well, it’s time to go get ready for everyone to come back… as you can tell from the nice pic below, we have quite a few people here (there’s plenty more that you can’t see).
Have a happy Memorial Day, Everyone!!

On this Veteran’s day we look back and know there are hundreds of thousands military members that are retired and active duty who have placed their lives on the line for our country as well as others. We know of the battles they have fought overseas, but many don’t realize the financial battle many face [...]

What is the deal with Stand Up Comics? Do they really have to stand up? Does this somehow help the jokes they are telling? What if they get tired and have to sit down? And why don’t they just sit down anyway? It seems it’d make them more comfortable, I mean, you don’t have to [...]
Well, the world’s largest Physics experiment is up and running and we’re all still alive. Yep, the world didn’t explode and the universe didn’t end or anything. Who’d a thunk that these scientist-types knew what they were talking about?
Hopefully the tests give them the information they’re looking for and perhaps we’ll finally find out where [...]
