I’m utterly sick of these e-mail I keep getting with things that look like this:
Barack Hussein Obama is a MUSLIM and keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran.
Everytime I get one, I reply back with the reasons it isn’t correct, and how it’s actually hurting the issue. So, here for your reading pleasure is a list of things that are true. Feel free to forward this list around to anyone you want, rather than sending the constant “He’s a MUSLIM TERRORIST!!!” e-mails, which as I just said, aren’t true. I may not agree with how much importance is placed on each item, but they are all true. Here is the list of twenty facts I have listed below:
- Obama lies about the circumstances leading to his parents meeting.
- Obama wants you to give up the guns.
- Obama is shown standing for the Pledge of Allegiance with his hands clasped.
- Obama does not wear an American Flag pin.
- In his past, Obama both smoked marijuana and used cocaine.
- Obama got his start in the Senate not by campaigning, but by challenging the nomination petitions of his four competitors.
- Obama’s camp got rid of the original owner of his MySpace site, then refused to pay him for the work done.
- Obama plans on cutting NASA funding to pay for his projects.
- Obama’s camp gave out free concert tickets when Bill Clinton came to speak, drawing the crowd away from him.
- Obama believes in Pork Barrel Politics as much as the next guy… no Change™ here.
- Obama belongs to a church headed by a racist preacher.
- Obama claims small town Americans are xenophobic, bitter, and cling to religion and guns.
- Obama says his grandmother is just a “Typical White Person”.
- Obama gets some “extra” help on Facebook from the creators.
- Obama plagiarizes some of his speeches.
- Obama has ties to now-indicted political fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko.
- Obama’s wife claims that this is “the first time in her adult life,” she was proud of America.
- Obama waffles on things that he stood for in the past.
- Obama’s advisers call for 80,000 troops remaining in Iraq, and Obama calls for a Strike Force of some sort.
- Obama says, “I don’t take money from oil companies.” Yes, he does.
One thing I’d like to mention here (before I start) is that when Obama supporters are told these things they do one of two things… they either use Ad Hominem (to the man) or Tu Quoque (you also) attacks. This means that instead of saying, “No you’re wrong, and here is why,” they either say “Oh yeah? You would say that because you support Candidate X” or “Well, Candidate X said the same thing!” What you need to realize is that this doesn’t negate the issue.
