It’s been awhile since I’ve complained about the apartment in which I live, but this morning after a pretty big rain storm I heard some weird noises coming from the kitchen. What were they? Drips… of water…
(If you notice the brown square… those watermarks are the border of the leak… looks nice, huh? The pot you see is one of 2… the other is catching water on the floor.)
That’s right, after months of telling the management that we can hear dripping when we stand in the kitchen, and them saying they’ve fixed it, the water that’s been slowly rotting the roof broke through right next to the light on the ceiling (I’m sure that’s good for the wiring). Nice. So here I sit, missing work, waiting for the roofers and the maintenance crew to get their collective butts up here to fix this. Sigh 
They’d better get here soon, seriously…
