I saw this on Slashdot and thought I’d spread the word… it seems just by using a BitTorrent client, the Media Companies have decided you’re guilty of something. Check it out below:

“For my investigation, I wrote a very simple BitTorrent client. My client sent a request to the tracker, and generally acted like a normal Bittorrent client up to sharing files. The client refused to accept downloads of, or upload copyrighted content. It obeyed the law… With just this, completely legal, BitTorrent client, I was able to get notices from BayTSP. To put this in to perspective, if BayTSP were trying to bust me for doing drugs, it’d be like getting arrested because I was hanging out with some dealers, but they never saw me using, buying, or selling any drugs.”

Well Jessica and I made it back from Florida safe and sound, and are now back home. I hope everyone out there had a great holiday, and if you got presents, I hope you got what you wanted! So, what did Jess and I get? Well so far (we still haven’t exchanged gifts with each other or her family) we got a nice anodized aluminum pot and pan set, a Next Generation George Forman grill, two electric toothbrushes, some candles, some books, a cookie plate, a new toaster, a battery re-charger, and a few other small things.

Yeah, I know we didn’t really get anything fun and exciting, but it was stuff we needed, and I’m quite happy with it (although I wish I had an MP3 player or PDA). If you want to get us something fun and exciting (like a good mp3 player), I don’t mind you donating. :happy:

Wow, huh? Know what the amazing part is? This isn’t the only tree like this… we saw plenty of them. :wacko:

All in all we had a great time… of course, we have tons to do at home still, but we’ll work on that over this next week. Also, I took lots of pictures, so I’ll be uploading them to the Photo Gallery this week as well.

Well, I’m sure most of you out there in TV Land are wondering where your AutoPatcher release is. Well let me be the first to tell you, it’s completed, and being uploaded. BUT, and this is a big but, it will be another day or so until it’s out. Why? Well, first off, the cable went out for most of the day here, which stopped my uploading. But the main reason, is me being sick. If you look below you see a few days back I was complaining about a cold. Well, it turns out after goin’ to the doctor, it wasn’t a cold. It was Bronchitis. Lovely. So I’m on tons of meds, and have been semi-quarantined (fun for all), so you’ll just have to bear with me a bit. It sucks for both of us, I know. Anywho, feel free to send me a get-well soon message to my e-mail, or of course, the often forgotten, Get Well Soon Donation… I mean, who doesn’t perk right up from one of those?So, back to resting for me whilst these files upload… I bet you’re as anxious as I am about this next release… it’s a doozy!
